Kevin Hart to Host Saturday Night Live

If Kevin Hart hasn’t already proved himself to be on the most prominent comedians of all time, he’ll make sure he proves that when he hosts Saturday Night Live on March 2nd, as reported by numerous news sources.

According to the reports made online, and a confirmation on his twitter account , Kevin will host the legendary comedy program with musical guests Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis. This will be Kevin’s first time as a host on SNL, and I’m sure he’s going to make it a special episode, being that his comedic idol (Eddie Murphy) is an alumni of the show. Kev will now join the elite group of stand-up comedians who have reached the level success to host the program (George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Louis C.K. and others).

I just hope that Kevin will be given some creative control in the writing process as I’m sure that he’ll remember to rep Philadelphia in some way, and maybe, just maybe, incorperate some Philly-bred comedians in the sketches.

So make sure to check out Philadelphia comedian Kevin Hart host the March 2nd episode of Saturday Night Live at 11:30 on NBC.
