I started this website to bring as much live comedy to Philadelphia as possible. Although such a task is difficult at times, being that we have such a large comedy scene, I still manage to do the job adequately for a single-man operation. This is definitely one of those moments.
Every once in a while, there’s a special event in Philadelphia that would be disappointing to those to missed it. Case and point: Comedian and Philadelphia native Clint Coley has made his way up the comedy ladder in an impressive amount of time. Once a comic in our great city doing regular shows in the circuit, to being a regular opener for D.L. Hughley, and now, filming his own comedy special to be released on Netflix to millions of viewers.
So, what does this mean for you, the comedy fan of Philadelphia? Since Clint hasn’t forgotten his Philly Comedy roots, he’s decided to film his special at the historic Irvine Theater on The University of Pennsylvania’s campus. And if that’s not enough, he’ll be making the show a completely FREE event. That means free, high quality live comedy for all!
This special event will take place on Saturday, September 22 at 7:30 PM at the Irvine Auditorium, located on The University of Pennsylvania’s campus.
So if you’ve ever wondered how a comedy special taping happens, and want to see one of Philadelphia’s next big comedians perform at his highest level, you should visit Clint’s online box office and get your free tickets!
It’s not very often that an event like this happens, and it will certainly be another example of how far our comedy scene really goes.
