Yes, Yes, I know it’s already about to be 2 shows in, but this spectacle is going to be happening all summer long and we still have plenty of time to witness the outcome of this yearly comedy event.
For those of you new to the scene, Philly’s Funniest is a comedy competition that crowns one hard working comedian as the year’s funniest person. The winning comedian of this contest wins a contract with Helium as a regular host and a cash prize of a thousand bucks. Winning comedians also receive a good amount of exposure to those who attend the show as well as the numerous media outlets that cover the competition. I’ll also be attending various shows throughout the series looking for comedians to feature on the site.
This series will be happening most of the summer with a lot of comedians from all over the area who will be competing. The following is the scheduled shows that are scheduled and the comedians who are performing them.
Being that this is an advancement styled competition, note that this schedule does not included the final rounds, which are to be determined based on who advanced through the series.
