Philadelphia comedian Chris Cotton of Center City Comedy is known for bringing comedy to our city. Now he’s working on something new to bring us and he needs a few moments of your time to explain what it is and how you can help make it happen. Please take a moment of your time to read the following by Chris:

No one know this but, I’m one of the stars in a TV show pilot. I’m with approximately 32 other talented and connected people on staff. We have been working on this show since last summer and we are about to go live with our first episode in a little under two months, I KNOW IT’S CRAZY!!!
At first, we wanted to take the upcoming pilot straight to the big networks and pitch them. We are 100% confident that the show is going to be a hit, as is justified by the experience the cast and crew have with television.
However, we realized it would be much smarter on our part to start out with a web-series on our own. This will give us the chance to build up our own following, so that when we do talk to different networks, we will have that following to negotiate with.
All that being said, we’ve started a kickstarter page to raise funds for the production budget, as we do not have a network’s budget to play with…yet.
Kickstarter is a platform for artists and inventors to host their ideas and offer rewards in exchange for donations. The platform is set up so that the larger amount of money you pledge to a project, the cooler the reward is that you get in return for helping get a project off the ground.
